Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Chronocal respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.
Data we store
- Local data: Tasks, calendar blocks, focus zones, themes, and preferences are stored on your device by default.
- Cloud data: If you enable cloud sync, your planner data is stored in our Convex backend, associated with your account.
- Connected calendars: If you connect Google Calendar, event data syncs between Chronocal and Google according to the permissions you authorize (read overlays and write-back of scheduled blocks to a dedicated Chronocal calendar).
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your calendar for advertising.
- We do not share your events with third parties except the calendar providers you explicitly connect.
Encryption
Calendar data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest on our servers.
